I had a passion for designing and textiles from a young age. After completing an advanced diploma in textiles, clothing and footwear in 2004 i launched my first label 'Imoko'.
I participated in many design markets and sold my clothing through boutiques across Australia.
I had always wanted to travel and i had made enough money from my clothing to allow me to do so, for the next few years i went from country to country gaining inspiration and collecting as much fabric as i could get my hands on along the way!
Just over a year ago i moved to Melbourne and set up my studio once again, i really had been itching to get back in there, especially after being exposed to so many amazing cultures, colours and life experiences.
At the beginning of this year - 2014 i launched my new label
'Qualia', with more refined patterns, fabrics and ideas, i created a collection titled' The Midnight Sun' that represents who i am and where i have been and I'm excited to be able to share it with you :)
